CEAM Developed Cooperative Exchanges with Dongguan University of Technology and the China Institute of Atomic Energy
On April 20th, 2016, CEAM developed cooperative exchanges with Dongguan University of Technology. Dean Zhang Shuyan, Party Committee Secretary of Dongguan University of Technology Cheng Hongbo, Chancellor Lin Li and other leaders and experts of the university had detail discussion on the applications, design, construction and research of the spectrometer which will be built by Dongguan University of Technology combining its discipline strength and strategy development. We formed preliminary cooperation agreement in resource sharing, scientific research cooperation and achievement transformation. In the future, the two sides will further deepen the implementation of specific content and mode of cooperation.
Two days later, on April 22, CEAM shared our ideas with the China Advanced Research Reactor (CARR) of China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) in Beijing. CIAE is attached to the China National Nuclear Corporation, and it’s the origin of China’s nuclear science and nuclear fundamental research. On the other hand, CARR is a multi-functional reactor with high techniques, and it is deemed as a significant platform for China’s nuclear science research and applications. CEAM Dean Zhang Shuyan, had in-depth communication with the Head of CIAE Department of Nuclear Physics, Chen Dongfeng and other experts of the industry, in which both parties reached the cooperative consent to share information and resources, to introduce talents and to work together in scientific researches. More specific contents of cooperation are to be discussed in the future.
